The Pride and Ally Centre, located in the Students’ Union Building, provides a safe space for everyone on-campus. The Centre provides education and resources on LGBTQA+ issues. The office is run by a student coordinator and volunteers who are trained in crisis intervention and LGBTQA+ issues. However, this is strictly a referral and resource centre. Our coordinator, Zabrina Downton, works with volunteers to ensure the office serves its purpose and implements related activities on-campus.

The PAC provides the following:

– Advocacy

– Referral Service

– Resource Library

– Workshops

– Special Events, such as Pride Week

– Free Condoms

– Confidentiality

The Centre is always looking for volunteers to help out. If you are interested, drop by or contact Zabrina Downton, Pride & Ally Centre Coordinator, at 902-563-1481 or
