Hello Baby Program

This program is for CBU Students who are soon expecting or have a child up to two years of age. Each family will be provided with up to 85$ worth of essential baby supplies. This amount will be given to 30 chosen applicants a semester and is available to students once per fiscal year (May 1st-April 30th).

** Please note that we are no longer accepting new Hello Baby applications at this time. As the school year comes to an end, we need to take this time to process applications that have already been submitted. The program will open again in September. Thank you for your understanding. **

Below is everything you need to know in the last few months leading up to their arrival and post-partum!
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to send an email to su_womenscentre@cbu.ca

How to Write a Birth Plan

A birth plan is a way of communicating with the midwives, doctors, and nurses who care for you during labour. It tells them about what kind of labour you would like to have, what you would like to happen and what you would like to avoid, if possible. It also helps you understand what to expect. The most important part of a birth plan is that it’s things may not go according to plan, you may be recommended a course of action that you had not originally hoped for but is in the best interest of you and your baby.
