Indigenous Drag Show
CBUSU Pride Week is ending on a high note with an Indigenous Drag Show! Expect a jaw-dropping performance from Cicero Crow as we celebrate Indigenous talent, queerness, and pride in the best way.

*Note: CBU students who are CBUSU members are allowed to bring a plus one who can be a non-student community member; plus ones must be registered at the door.
Sex Toy Bingo
You read that right—Sex Toy Bingo hosted by the incredible Eden Disorder is back for CBUSU Pride Week! Get ready for a night full of laughs, high energy, and some seriously fun prizes!
Doors open at 5:30PM, and the fun starts at 6:00PM.

Pottery Night
Join the CBUSU Pride and Ally Centre for a fun night of pottery at Fired Creations in Sydney! If that’s not enough to convince you, all registered attendees get to paint one pottery piece priced at $25-30 for FREE!

Join us in the Pit for an afternoon of DIY crafts with our CBUSU Centres!
During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Make bracelets with our Women’s Centre;
Paint pottery and get photos taken in the Cosmic Chat Photobooth with our Multicultural Hub;
Build your own stuffed animal pal with our Pride & Ally Centre;
Learn about the 7 Sacred Teachings through painting with our Ekkian Indigenous Centre; and
Spin the Wheel of Meals with our Food Bank!
CBU Athletics Pre-Game Social
Capers Basketball Home Opener is almost here, and you do NOT want to miss it! Come kick things off at the pre-game social at the Pit on October 31st, where we’ll have spooky mocktails, free treats, and we’ll get you game ready with The Pit Crew.

CBUSU Haunted Hallway
Halloween is here, and we’re celebrating with our annual Haunted Hallway! Join us in the Students’ Union Building and enjoy our spooky Halloween festivities.
There will be many thrilling activities for you to take part in with our various Student Centres, including the Multicultural Hub, Women’s Centre, Pride and Ally Centre, Women’s Centre, Food Bank, and more! There will also be free Halloween treats available in participating Centres, so don’t miss out!
The Pit Encore: SU Edition
To conclude our Week of Welcome celebrations, we have the Pit Encore: SU Edition! This pub-style event will feature live music performed by Coastline, orange-themed cocktails and mocktails, and prizes!
During this event, we will award the prizes to the first, second, third, and fourth place teams of The Amazing Caper Race. We’ll also have our grand prize draw for Cape Smokey Tickets! And be sure to wear your best orange outfit for a chance to win a $500 Tuition Voucher!

Are you new to Sydney and looking to familiarize yourself with the area? Or are you a long-time local wanting to put your Cape Breton knowledge to the test? Consider signing up for The Amazing Caper Race!
This event will have teams of four (4) decoding hints and locating key landmarks around Sydney while completing challenges along the way!
Don’t have a full team of 4 (four) ready to go? No worries—sign up as an individual and we will make a team for you!
Prizes include: Apple iPads (11th Gen.) for First Place; Roku TVs (32”, HD) for Second Place; JBL Live 460NC Headphones for Third Place, and Back-to-School Baskets for Fourth Place!

Mario Kart Tournament + Dance Battle
Want to prove you’re the ultimate Mario Kart player or show off your best dance moves? This is the event for you!
Participants in the Mario Kart Tournament will compete in the Games Room for big ticket items! First Place will receive a Nintendo Switch LiteTM, Second Place will receive JBL Live 460NC Headphones, and Third Place will receive a Hershey’s Chocolate Gift Basket! And make sure to arrive early because the first 10 people will earn themselves a $25 Sobey’s Gift Card!
Participants in the Dance Battle will compete in 1v1 dance battles in the Pit Lounge, and every dance battle winner will receive a prize! Prizes include Discounts and Vouchers for Soulvaria, as well as $25 Sobey’s Gift Cards!
